Can I charge my Iphone in Europe with only an adapter? Or do I need some kind of converter?

Yes, you only need an adapter. The white box on the iphone wall charger has a built-in converter. You can read the very fine print on the box: 100-240V - Europe is 220V so you are fine.

What docking adapter do I need for an iPhone 3GS to dock into a Bose SoundDock Series II to ensure the Bose connector does not break?
The Bose SoundDock Series II supports the iPhone and uses Apple's Universal Dock system, however:
1. When inserting the iPhone, it is difficult to align the phone into the connector
2. The iPhone wobbles forward and back when selecting new songs while in the dock (causing stress on the connector.)
Is there an adapter from Apple which eliminates these problems?- Asked by Daren E from Cream Ridge

There is no adapter made for the Series II SoundDocks. Unlike the former SoundDock model, Series II comes with a universal insert that fits all ipod & iphone models. The insert itself will support the connector and prevent breakage. That being said, my SoundDock connector has been giving me trouble lately. I keep getting the infamous "This Accessory Is Not Made To Work With iPhone. Would You Like To Turn On Airplane Mode...." error every few minutes. I have to sellect No or Yes and then push Play to continue the music playback. It seems to work better if I pull the iphone forward a little, making a tighter connection to the connector pins. Maybe they should have included custom fit adapters like their original model, then maybe the iphone would line up better with the connector and eliminate this problem. I will be sending mine back for an exchange seeing it is still under warrantee. Hope this helps.

Answer
I've searched the world over and there are none in black. I used a black permanent marker. It gives a nice high gloss finish. You may want to use spray paint, while inconvenient, serves the purpose for a more permanent solution. I myself like things to match. Good luck,. Hope it helped.

Why is adaptor needed
I have a Sony Mini Hi-Fi MHC EC909ip system with docking station for iPods and iPhones and it states to I needed an adaptor despite the iPhone plugging into the docking station and working fine. I asked Sony why adaptor needed and they said if it works, I "probably" don't need one. But from reading these reviews, seems that is not the case. Can somebody please explain why an adaptor is needed?
