AnswerNo, it is skid resistant but it is not sticky or grippy. it's weighted so it won't just fall over from your iPhone's weight but it will if you smack it around...

AnswerDefinitely not!
The *original* iPhone's dock works with iPhone 4, but the 3G/3GS one (this one) doesn't because it's moulded to the curved shape of the 3G's case.

Best AnswerAlso, the Universal Dock has an IR receiver and comes with an Apple Remote to control you device (according to the picture, it appears this is the old-style white remote, not the current aluminium one).

AnswerNo it doesn't. You could buy the Apple Universal Dock though. That should have an adapter in the box that fits the first generation iPhone.
