There is a cable that comes with the iPod Nano, it can be used to sync and charge from the usb 2.0 port on your computer. It does not come with an adapter plug though, so you would need this in order to plug it directly into the wall using the cable that comes with the iPod Nano.

what is output voltage of ipod power adapter
- Asked by SS from Henderson

Best Answer
The Apple iPod Power Adapter automatically detects and switches to a wide range of input voltages and frequency ranges.
Accepted Input Power Range
100 V to 240 V
50 Hz to 60 Hz
26 VA to 38 VA
The input power range covers most countries in the world. However, when traveling always ensure the input power is within the accepted input power range.
Note: Since the power adapter can accept a wide input power range, only a power outlet adapter, which can be purchased at travel, electronic, and department stores, is required when traveling. The World Travel Adapter Kit is specifically designed for iPod and provides a variety of AC plug adapters that replace the original AC plug adapter.
Apple iPod Output Power
12 V

I have one and it works, it really does. When I come in and don't want to deal with the computer, I just plug the IPod's USB cable into this adapter and it charges the IPod, every time. I keep mine plugged into an extension cord most of the time, to make it handy to use. I wouldn't be without one of these.
