How can I detect my ipod 8gb in my computer?
The computer detects a unknown, Apple mobile device usb drive in the control panel,but not in my computer. It shows up in Itunes, but i want to imort all the songs from that ipod to a new ipod, and it does not show in my computer so i can work from there. How can I find it there?

may i see the specs on the ipod generation 3
i have a ipod 3rd generation that was given to me as a gift i dont have the paperwork for it and i want to know how much music and videos does it hold on the back it says 4GB if this helps? and what is the value of it today, i know it resemblles the ipod classic now its just a little shorter and the classic is more advanced. im trying to decide what to do with this one before i go after the classic. thank you.

It will come with a USB 2.0 end for the computer and a Dock connector for the iPod. Hope this helps

Doesn't this come with the iTouch when you purchase it new?
I am planning to purchase an iPod Touch 32 GB, but am interested in knowing what accessories I might need. I am already planning to buy a car charger, but will I need this cord, too? Doesn't the new iPod Touch come with a cord to plug it into my iMac to charge?

Is there a chord available that I can plug into my iphone and then plug into a dock/speakers so I don't have to remove my silicone case?
I have a really nice silicone case on my iphone, if I want to hook my iphone up to a speaker system or a dock I would have to slip off the case and I don't want to keep doing that on a regular basis because my silicone case would get stretched/tear.
