AnswerIn your general settings app, go to the settings for music and turn "Shake to Shuffle" off.
It seems this setting is turned on by default when you get the ipod touch, since I had the same problem.- Answered by Jason M from New Fairfield

Answer
The Nike+ only tracks running properly. Other movements (e.g. kicks) could be interpreted as strides of running, so in short, no, it will not help you with karate, unless running is a part of your workout routine.

AnswerAs it said in the overview, you don't use the antenna. Therefore, you only need the sensor. I have a 3rd gen. 64gb iPod touch, and it works great.

The Nike+iPod Sport Kit that I bought doesn't indicate it is compatible with iPhone 3GS......Is the sport kit an older version?
- Asked by Kinley R from Edmond
- Oct 12, 2009
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerYou didn't need to purchase the Sports kit, as the iPhone 3GS already has the receiver built in. You could've just purchased the transmitter, which would've saved you $AUD20. Either way, the transmitter, which came in the sports kit, will work with your iPhone.

AnswerI don't think so, in the system settings you should be able to enable it, otherwise if that doesn't work then you just need the sensor not the whole set.

bought this kit with an ipod nano 3rd gen 2 yrs ago, just got ipod touch and shoe sensor won't connect. Do i still need plug in sensor or a new kit?

AnswerOk. First of all, how did you go about trying to link it? Did you go through settings, or the Nike+ app itself? The proper way to do it is: Settings - Nike+iPod, make sure the slider at the top reads "on", scroll down and select "Sensor". If the sensor is in your shoes, walk around in them for a few seconds until the iPod says it is linked. If the sensor is outside of your shoes, shake it for a few seconds until the iPod says it is linked. And that is how you link your sensor. Good luck!
