Best Answeryou (sadly) have to buy a wall charger, car charger, or external battery pack (only if you mean 1st gen. i-Pod shuffle)

How can I charge my IPod Shuffle 3rd Generation in the Car
Want to be able to charge battery of 3rd Generation IPod Shuffle in the car, for continued car playing use. I use the adaptor and hooke it up to cassette right now to play through car speakers, but I can't find a way to charge it up in the car because it's different from a 1st Generation. Any thoughts?

Is the external battery pack (unavailable in UK) compatible with iPod Shuffles sold in UK?
I use my iPod shuffle when travelling and would find the external pack useful. However, mindful of the fact that it is not offered by the UK Apple shop, it occurs to me that the different power supplies may mean that the device is not designed for use here in England. I can easily obtain the product from the U.S., but hesitate since it may just be a waste of time.
