So this is compatible with the late 2008 black macbook, and I will be able to use my Cintiq with it?
I've recently purchased a Wacom Cintiq and I want to make sure this is the proper video adapter for the black 13" Macbook (which I purchased the summer of 2008).

What graphics cards is this adaptor NOT compatible with?
Apparently this card is not compatible with some Macbook models. Is this a hardware difference or does an incompatibility issue exist with some graphics cards?

There is no sound/audio with this adapter & a composite cable attached to my tv - how do I get sound while I watch a video??

You can use a mini-plug to RCA (composite) splitter cable to connect from your speaker/headphone output to the composite audio inputs (usually white and red) on your television. Or plug in some computer speakers or headphones to your Mac.

Nope; the newest MacBook uses Mini-DisplayPort, not Mini-DVI. This cable is not compatible.
