Are you able to remove the phone from the dock with one hand?
I've read lots of reviews of other docks that say that the lightning connector is very snug, so it takes 2 hands to unplug the phone from the dock. How easily can you remove the phone from the Belkin dock?

If you have an Otterbox could you use this product?
I have an Otterbox defender, could this work with the case on the iPhone 5
- Asked by Nathan B from Freeport

AnswerIt doesn't work. It works with a standard case, but the Otterbox is too big plus the flap covering the Lightning Connector prohibits the connection.

can this be used for the ipad mini?
- Asked by Lourdes T from New York

AnswerYes - It works with iPad mini just fine. You may want to anchor the dock to a desk or table for added support. If you simply put the iPad mini on the dock - it will fall backwards quite easily as there isn't enough support/weight in the base.
Otherwise - iPad mini fits on the dock perfectly.- Answered by Micheal L from Ajax

Can you leave your case in place when you charge the iPhone 5?
Some docks will only fit the phone w/o case.

AnswerI bought a Tech21 impact case, and wanted a docking station that would allow me to charge the phone without removing the case. I bought the Belkin dock at the Apple Store, and asked one of the staff to let me test it out in the store before I left. Alas, it didn't fit the phone with the case on -- the Lightning adapter needs to be just another 1/8" longer or so for the phone to fit securely on the dock. So I returned it immediately. It says "compatible with most cases," but I recommend testing yours before you leave the store.

Can you use this adapter for iHome alarm clocks/radio?
I am saving up for an iPod 5th generation and I'm wondering if i could put this adaptor on my iHome clock radio to charge my iPod/ play music. I really like my iHome and I don't want to have to buy a brand new one just for the charger. My iHome currently is for the iPod 4th generation.
