How does the Moleskin Notebook work with the iPad or iPhone?

AnswerU take a picture of your handwritten note and upload the "photo" to your Evernote account via the Evernote mobile map. Evernote digitizes the photo and your handwritten text becomes searchable and is stored with all your other Evernote notes/webpage clippings. The point in the paper is that the lines/grid assist with the digitizing process.

How is this different than taking a picture with JotNot and saving to evernote?
I'll often take a picture of a menu or a recipe or a handwritten note with the JotNot app and save it to Evernote, and it becomes searchable. What does using the Moleskin notebook offer in addition to this?

AnswerIt's the same, but with the paper and Evernote app's page scan feature, the photo is automatically cropped and white balanced so that it looks very good. Plus, the notebook includes "smart stickers" that you can assign to specific Evernote notebooks so that the page "scans" automatically go into the linked Evernote notebooks when uploaded.
