Very good question. I have an Epson that won't. Seems like a silly flaw in the software that won't let you by-pass the "replace ink" settings to use the other functions.

Does install require an online download or CD to work with the I Pad ?
I am new to the Apple product world. I have the IPad and the I Phone 5 now. I wanted to know if I were to purchase this or any Air printer would it require an online download or a CD Rom to to one or both devices? Also does Apple recommend any of the Air printers on your site?

Hi.. NO it does not. You can achieve that manually but it's not a built-in feature.
