AnswerThis is automatically switched off when it detects the Bluetooth keyboard. Though there is an option to switch it on if you want.

AnswerNot sure what you mean by beveled, but when the iPad is "in" the case, it's resting on four tiny rubber bumpers at each cover so that the screen is fully protected.

I see that the Logitech holds the Ipad in a horizontal position, but can the Ipad be placed in a vertical position and still use the keyboard?

AnswerYes it definitly can, and it works great! Thats what I'm doing right now! The holder that the iPad goes in is not magnetic when it is vertical though.

AnswerYes, it does. Whatever keyboard layout (language setting) that you chose the keypads respond to your setting, same as if your are typing with the IPad's virtual keyboard.

AnswerSome airline allow the use of Bluetooth accessories once the seatbelt lights are out. You will have to enable the flight mode before take off.
