Does this keyboard cover have the exact same connection (dimensions) as the Apple smart cover?
I'm thinking of getting the iSkin Solo Smart back cover. It states it is compatible with the Apple Smart Cover, but I want to make sure the dimensions are the same for Logitech otherwise the back cover from iSkin will not work...

Answer
Hello, the Ultrathin keyboard cover is just 0.31 inches thick. I had the back of my iPad covered with a super durable protection shield at my local mall. I also still use the Smart Cover & the Ultrathin cover simultaneously. This is great when I want to just use the tablet, and keep the Ultrathin in my briefcase when I need to type a report or blog.
It's well worth the money!!- Answered by Joseph F from Linden

Since the back of the iPad is slick and it seems like this cover is as well, does anybody have problems with dropping or slipping off your lap?

Answer
No problems with that here. If you are... not wise and choose to dangle the keyboard and swing it around by the keyboard end of it... your ipad will go flying. It's a magnet case for connivence and I don't have sliding issues but if you're concerned about it you could probably find a rubberized back cover compatible with the 'smart cover' case (a case that allows for a magnet attached cover).
I use the CaseMate barely there cover for the back. It works just fine. The logitech keyboard on the front and then have a zip sleeve for it.
In general I would never just use this by itself, I would have a case or sleeve to go with it. That is my personal preference of keeping it safe from harm anyway.
Good luck!- Answered by Lynsey S from Medford

I'm concerned it may mark the screen over time. Can anyone comment on this?

Answer
No screen marks. When the iPad is "in" the case, it's resting on four small rubber bumpers at each corner and held in by a tight fit to outside perimeter of the iPad. Nothing is touching the screen.
