Best AnswerI dropped my Macbook Pro in this case (accident) and it has no damage at all, the case is fine too, its made of hard plastic and rubber.

Best AnswerThis case for your MacBook Pro has specially drilled holes in the bottom of the case, where the battery is. Monthly you should be taking the case off, and cleaning the Mac, from dust. Your Mac will not overheat.
