would the fitbit be able to track calories burned or steps taken(rotations) if you are on a bike?
So it will track if I am walking but what if I am on a bike, either stationary or outside? Will it track my steps/calories?

AFAIAC it doesn't, like the original fitbit which i have ,said the same thing, but it tracks how much you move around and get up.So it doesn't track real sleep.
There are some items on the market that track true sleep cycles, or at least they go on the head, near the temples for monitoring , and not the wrist.- Answered by Michael P from Yonkers

AnswerIt will only sync with Bluetooth 4 devices, iPad 3 & 4, iPad mini and iPhone 4S & 5
You can also use the supplied dongle for computer.
