Answer
No its not waterproof. Mine got bad due to this. the button does not work anymore but it still syncs with my laptop. I would say it is water "resistant" not "proof"

Answer
No, you can not make it smaller. The base band is a fixed length. You can increase the size by adding the small link, or the large link, or both links.

To best track riding, I wear it on my ankle. I put the extra link back in so that it will close and I don't lose it.

Can it be used as a watch?
Can I wear it as a watch as well as a workout device?

Answer
Yes, very usable as a watch. It is very comfortable to wear though out the day. One draw back I have with it is the rigidity of the band. I wish it was more flexible.

Answer
Not that accurate. Since it only is on your arm. It thinks you are moving when you move your hand. It's not the most precise

fuelband ipad
Does the Nike Fuleband work with the latest iPads? I have purchased the Wirthing scales and they do not even though advertised to. Would like someone's opinion who has actually connected the two. Also, would you have to take your ipad running like the iPod when using this device or can the information be downloaded after your run via blue tooth from the fuleband? Thanks for any assistance.\

does it tell time or date?
does Nike FuelBands tell time or date?
- Asked by Nancy K from Raleigh

Answer
The device will keep track of time and displays the time on the LED. Internally it does keep track of the date (if you don't sync it up for a few days, it does know which day you did what fuel points), however it does not display the date for you.
Also in the newer firmware updates, you can now change your time using your iPhone -- without plugging into a computer (for example if travelling or with daylight savings time).- Answered by Randy W from West Chicago
