Are these good computer speakers? Better value than the B&W MM-1?
I'm debating between these and the Bowers and Wilkins MM-1 speakers for iMac. Will I find the sound overwhelming for use with a desktop computer? Most reviews are based on TV pairing.
Any input would be great! Thanks.- Asked by Larry C from Redmond

Do the Apple keyboard F10, F11, and F12 volume keys system volume control these speakers or is the Paradigm remote required? How about iTunes volume?

AnswerYes, absolutely. Once the Millenia CT is plugged into the headphone output you have the same controls that you would expect from a headphone. Keyboard control for volume up/down, mute and iTunes control.

Is that an 'optical' input plug on the back of the little black electronic module? It's labelled "digital" whereas the Apple TV module is "optical".
Do I need to use the 3.5mm jack for input or can I use optical input off of my Airpot Express? If you take a close look at the picture of the stacked Apple TV and Paradigm module, the digital input and optical input look like different connectors.

Is wireless setup possible?
I am not sure from the specification or the description of this product if it can be connected to my MacBook wirelessly. Is it possible?

AnswerYou can but you'll need an Airport Express or Apple TV to stream from your MacBook. You can use the analog or digital out of either and plug directly into this system. Digital is preferred but either will sound better than coming out of the computer's headphone jack. Its worth it! This system absolutely rocks and gives new meaning to the idea of a computer speaker system. I've had one for a couple of months and its the most fun I've had listening to music in years!
