AnswerI've tried these on, and couldn't focus on the display at all without my glasses. You will need contacts in order to read it if you're visually impaired.

iPhone compatibility for Oakley Airwave Goggle
I would like to know if the Airwave Goggles can be used with an iPhone 4, or is it only 4S and 5?

Best AnswerThe Airwave goggles work both with a phone and independent of a phone as it comes with a variety of onboard sensors. Because it uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), only iPhone 4S and later work with the product for enabling features such as buddy tracking and music playlist.

With the Oakley Airwave goggles, can I control streaming music (Pandora, Spotfiy, etc) on my iPhone 5 or only music that is stored on the phone?
To clarify, can the Oakley Airwave goggles remote wristband control streaming music through my iPhone 5 that would be displayed in the monitor inside the goggles?

AnswerI own these bad boys, and there is not a way to do that with the current software version... you actually control the audio via the app, not really the ipod side of your iphone...

Are the Oakley Airwave Goggles fairly exclusive to skiing or could it be adapted to other activities?
I was considering whether the googles could be used as a HUD for off-roading, hiking, geocaching or real-time information streaming for various applications. The fact that technology of this caliber is hitting the civilian market excites me and I was wondering what the limitations/possibilities were at this time.
