The belt clip included can be used as a docking station. You can do this simply by twisting the clip around.

It does swivel -- be warned though that I read a bunch of reviews that said that after a while, it wouldn't stay locked in any one position. The case itself is incredibly rugged but the quality of the belt clip doesn't really match the quality of the case itself. (I didn't have mine long enough to develop a problem, though -- I returned it after discovering that the case covers up the ambient light sensor. It's possible to disable the automatic brightness adjust, but I like the auto-adjust and it was driving me crazy that the screen was so dim all the time.)

No, it is offered in a bunch of different colors. Mine is pure black.

It doesn't work because the case covers the sensor, but to be honest its best switched off with this fantastic cover.

After purchasing one (Survivor Case for iPod Touch 4th gen) I can affirm that YES, the 45 degree mini jack (Sony, InCase, UE by Logiteck) does make FULL contact. A Belkin mini to mini also fits.
So far, I'm impressed with the case.
