Questions & Answers for Speck 15" SmartShell Case for MacBook Pro with Retina Display

I have used these cases since buying my first MacBook Pro in 2007. I have never had one scratch any of the 3 MacBook Pros since or either of the ones I have purchased for my two MacBook Airs. I just take them off periodically and clean up any dirt or particulate matter that has accumulated! Even after the six + years of having one on my first MacBook Pro the outside case looks like new!!

It doesn't directly lead to overheating.. I'm still able to use it on a day-to-day basis with no problems.. Its just that theres an increase CHANCE of it heating up (not overheating) if you do something intensive...

In terms of cooling.. as it is plastic if the laptop is hot it will take longer to cool down as plastic retains heat.. but it will cool overtime..

Fairly durable usually only shows small cracks on the corners. Speck has a one year factory warranty and is very good about promptly replacing any damaged items no questions asked!

It does, on the sides where the vent openings are there's slots to allow air flow to the Mac

yes - My MacBook pro is the same 13"3 and it fits perfect - you can Just click on the size u want - its so easy and simple. But to answer You're question yes :D

No, this is the 13 inch model but there is one for the 15. I can't post the link here but if you go to the store, there is one for 15 exact replica just made for the 15.
