How can you turn of the alarm system so that it doesn't alarm
I am not using the clock for a alarm, but it alarms every morning and I don't how to turn the alarm so it will not come on at all

Answer
Yes. Simply quickly press Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button two times. This will turn off the alarm, or turn on the alarm if it was off.

The alarm buzzer volume unfortunately cannot be controlled as other alarms, e.g., radio, can. Maybe this design feature could be incorporated into the next software update along with having the buzzer make a buzzing sound, vice the beep it presently has.

Can this be adapted to be compatible with iPod Nano 7th Gen? Why is it so hard to find 7th Gen accessories?
I'm looking for a dock/charging station w/ AC adapter so I can listen to tunes without the earbuds, can't find anything compatible with iPod Nano 7th Gen. The iHome Dual-Alarm Stereo Clock Radio for iO S Devices seems to be what I'm looking for.

if you turn off the alarm clock will it stop the ipod if reading an audio book and start again at the same place?
I want to use an I pod to download audio books for my father but he cannot work an I pod so nee to plug it into a speaker system with a one button control that will turn off the book on the I pod and start again at the same location when he wants to hear more. Any suggestions??

yes. but there's no "auto-dim," which means once you dim the lights/numbers enough, in daylight you can't read it very well from across the room. -again, incompetently designed (see my review)-
