AnswerIts compatible with all devices ever manufactured that have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. And the ipad mini has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. I'm using an ipad mini and the studio beats over ear headphones works amazing with it.

AnswerUnfortunately this is false. Only the Solo HD wireless models are wireless / bluetooth.

Best AnswerBeats Pro have a 1.2mm port. whereas Beats Studio have a 3.5mm. though both sets come with the almost identical wires, the pro cords would not work with studio headphones as the jack is too small. and vice versa, studio cors would be to large for Pro ports

Yes you can use your Beats with ipod nano, because Beats Studio came with 2 cables 1 normal cable, and the other with remote control.

Does the in-line switch on the iPhone comparable cable control the volume of the device?
It looks like it just has one control button, and no up and down buttons for the volume, yet all the web sites that describe these headphones say you can adjust the volume from the cable switch.
