AnswerYes you can. I would recommend an otterbox. I purchased the Otterbox Defender ( $100) a hefty price for a case, but it is really nice.

AnswerNope! The magnets holding the Keyboard Cover to the iPad simply detach if you try to fold it around back. It's best to remove the cover and use the iPad by itself if you want to use it without the Keyboard Cover as a stand.

No, the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad does NOT work with the iPad mini, because the case is too thin to fit in the slot. But there is a Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for the iPad mini. Its cost is $79.99. The magnets are pretty weak; I'd give it a score of 3 out of 5.
