I have problems with chemicals and some leathers are treated with 'something' that makes it mighty smelly, to me anyway, so I just want to know is this one smelly, and if so did it go away quickly?

AnswerI never had any smell to mine....just yummy looking luxury! I hesitated, but was worth every bit, for all the compliments it brings. I have that gloss red one apple was selling, but this orange is landing in NJ..ha!!

Does this wallet protect your iphone 4S as well as the plastic cases you purchase does?
For. ex. I have dropped my iphone in the plastic case and it has been fine. If I drop the wallet, does this protect the phone, as I understand the phone does not fit in the wallet with a case on it.

AnswerI use mine for my ipod Touch [3G]. It's a bit loose but I solve that by hooking my pen/stylus on the inside before I put my ipod in. Works a treat for me. I've dropped my numerous times & nothing has happened. The devices are well padded & well protected in these wallets.

AnswerYou do not have to take the phone out to talk. I fold the flap back behind the phone so it doesn't flop around. You get use to it very quickly! Love it!
