Answer
No. If it started raining while you're in flight, it would be OK until you get it landed. But I wouldn't want to expose it to much more water than that.

Would this be able to lift a GoPro Hero 2 camera if attached?
- Asked by Jeffrey L from San Antonio
- Jan 8, 2013
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerYes. I have seen several YouTube videos doing just that. But I think they used a GoPro to compensate for the 1.0's low-resolution camera. The Drone 2.0 has a HD camera, so you don't need a GoPro so much

i have a dron1.0 with lots of spare batteries. Want to buy another drone so that i can have drone wars with my husband. But don't want to buy more spares. Would be way more convient if the same spares will fit both the 1.0 and 2.0 drones.

Does the Drone automatically land when it loses wifi connectivity?
- Asked by Neil S from Brisbane

AnswerNo, it actually just hovers where it was when it loses wifi connectivity but it will automatically land when it gets to low battery. So if you lose connection on top of a house... Not good.

Can you use cellular as your internet for the drone?
- Asked by Nathan O from Port Stephens
- Nov 15, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerNo.
The Wi-Fi connection is between the Drone and your iPhone (or iPad, etc.). Instead of controlling the device with a conventional radio frequency or an IR (infrared) controller (like the one found in many Air Hogs indoor choppers), the control is a direct Wi-Fi connection to the drone. No router is needed, they connect straight to each other. Just before you fly, you connect to the Drone's "network" in your device's settings.- Answered by Bob A from Charlotte

Only Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 is 299$?
Only Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 is 299$? Or with The IPhone? Why would you make the device more expencive than the IPHONE
- Asked by Blagoj P
- Oct 8, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerThe Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 is $299 by itself. An iPhone is not included with that, but you don't have to use the iPhone as the controller. It works with iPhones, iPod Touch, and iPads.
As for why it's more expensive than the iPhone, is because this is an intricate piece of technology. Considering there are two cameras, it can be linked to an iPhone, iPod or iPad, and that it's so lightweight, I'm surprised that it doesn't cost more. If you're so worried about the price, then perhaps this isn't for you.- Answered by Alex B from Euless
