Can you upgrade from CS2 to CS6? I recent upgraded my MAC Book Pro OS to 10.8.3. is there any special requirements for upgrading?

Best AnswerIt's a single license for one user. That user can install and activate on up to two of their personal computers (E.g. a laptop and a desktop)

Best AnswerHI, I am a beginner myself and looking at a piece of software like this really intimedated me.
However the first thing that helped me was a game that comes with it called levle up for photoshop. very helpfull teaches you a few of the basics.
Then on top of that there are all sorts of pro tutorials on youtube for practically everything and anything you could ever need.
YOu will also find people on here very helpful and genrally quick to answer and happy to help.

Can I trial this program before I buy it?
I would really like to be able to see oif this is the right program for what I need to do before I spend the money to do it, is there a trial version that I can download and use for a few days?

No. Upgrades are not sold in DVD form, they are only digital downloads from Adobe's website. This is the full product at full price.

AnswerYou can upgrade to CS6 directly from CS4. You don't not need to upgrade CS5 to upgrade to CS6

AnswerThat is not true. A retina display mac will run CS6 just fine. An update will be out shortly for it to run even better and take full advantage of the screen resolution of the retina display.

Can I import files from Kodak DCS Contax 645 digital back? Does this software also contain Adobe Bridge?
I used to use Adobe CS4 which had Adobe Bridge in it, to import files from this digital back. With a computer crash and reinstalling a new hard drive, the software is lost and I do not have the CDs or the serial numbers. So, Adobe tells me that I need to buy CS6.

Best AnswerThe instructions say that you can download to 2 computers. If you want to switch to a new computer you have to deactivate it on the old one first.

AnswerSure. Scanners come with their own software. Scan in there, save as a tiff and open it in Photoshop.
