AnswerCase adds about 1/2inch (1/4" on top, 1/4" on bottom). There was no option to engrave when I purchased it.
Nice leather. Bottom fits really well. Top can fall off at times, but not too often.
I do like it better than the plastic Speck case that I originally purchased for the Air.- Answered by Donna T from Thousand Oaks

AnswerLove the case, however, yes laptop has been overheating since using it. Never had the overheat problem when using my old plastic case. Unfortunately, the plastic cracked easily. No easy solution.
This case is nice but I am concerned the elastic that holds onto the screen side will stretch. Overall, I may just go back to plastic!- Answered by Donna T from Thousand Oaks
