We used ours for a round of golf...so 4 hours or so. GPS was used the whole time with a range finder app. Both the phone and Mophie were fully charged when we started. By, the end of the round...the phone battery hadn't even been used...and Mophie battery was still at more than 75% charged. Normally, an entire round of golf...used to wipe out my phone battery completely. Love this!! So, unless you're walking more than 4 hours...you are good to go....you'll love it and will SEE the difference.

AnswerYes 4 lights should began to flash depending on the amount of juice left in your pack. Meaning if the pack has very little juice left the first light will only be blinking and the next and so forth as pack is being charged up. When the pack is completely charged all lights will then be lit and stay lit.

AnswerI have an older version of this case (without the top cutout). It is definitely easier to grip than the iPhone alone. Mine has a soft, kind of rubbery feel. Based on the description of this case, it probably is of the same material. I love mine.
