Is the camera itself wireless or does it require Ethernet connection?

I was initially confused by this as well. It does allow you to access via WIFI but you must plug the camera directly into your Router's built in switch or your own home or home office switch initially.
Here are the steps
1. Take it out of the box, plug in the WIFI antenna
2. Take the Ethernet cable and plug one end into your camera and the other end into your network router's built in switch or a switch plugged into your router.
2a. Plug the camera in to the power
3. Launch the app on your PC or RECOMMENDED launch the iBaby application via your iPhone, Pad, iPod device!
4. It will auto discover your camera and then tell you to unplug the ethernet cable
PLEASE NOTE that you MUST unplug the ethernet cable as SOON as it starts the progress bar. if not, it will be too late. The first time that I did this I waited until the progress bar was at 40% I was running from upstairs to downstairs to unplug the cable and it was too late.- Answered by David R from Fountain Hills

Will view automatically switch from one camera to another at regular intervals if using multiple cameras? Need to monitor both kids at same time.
I don't want to manually switch from one camera to another. At night I need to make sure both my children are monitored at all times. Does this have a feature that allows you to monitor both kids at the same time if you hook up multiple cameras? Preferably video and audio automatically alternating between cameras at regular intervals. If video does to automatically switch, does it at least activate the appropriate camera if one baby cries out?

Is there another device(i.e. stationary monitor) whereby you can view the baby? For example, if I need to leave a monitor with babysitter.
I'd like to be able to leave a stationary monitor with a baby sitter while I take my iPhone with me. We have a two story house and it's sometimes hard to hear the baby crying upstairs if you don't have a monitor with you downstairs.

YES IT WORKS ... BUUUT - Here is the only way that it will work correctly. Once you have it configured, you MUST follow these steps: 1) Log in to the camera via your browser - you will know what the IP address is when you open the iBaby app from your Iphone/iPad/iPod. When you open it up, click on Set Up. When you do so, click on the Camera Information button. You will see "IP address" field at the top. You will then want to type that IP address in with the port number in the address bar of your favorite browser. Example: If you see an IP address of 192.168.1.13 and a PORT 14971 - open your browser and type in (h t t p : / / 192.168.1.13:14971
2) You will be prompted to log in (you should have your username/password available - this is something you set up when you launch the iBaby app (when you configure the camera for the first time)
3) When you are in, click on the advanced tab and uncheck Obtain IP automatically. This will prevent your IP address from changing! Do not forget to click on SUBMIT - your camera will reboot
4) Log back in to the camera via your favorite browser and click on Advanced again. On the right side you will see DDNS ... write that URL down as this will be the URL that you will use to connect on the road, at your office or anywhere outside of your WIFI range
5) Now here is the hard part - you need to log into your WIFI router (NetGear, Linksys, Apple Airport, D-LINK) and you need to find a "Port Forwarding" section. The IP address of your router is your gateway IP address (i.e. 192.168.1.1) - you want to type that in to your favorite browser and log in
6) When you do, you want the service name to be "Baby Monitor" / Protocol to be TCP/UDP (or just TCP is fine) / Starting Point/Ending Point to be the port that you saw when you logged in to your camera (i.e. 14971) and the sever IP to be the IP address of your camera (i.e. 192.168.1.13).- Answered by David R from Fountain Hills

If you set the monitor up to a static IP address (this is easy to do in the set up options on the device) then you should be able to enter ip address into a web-browser and once you put in the username and password details that you set up on the device you should be able to view this wherever you are in the world.
