NO, because of the new Lightning connector on the iPad. The iPad needs to sit into the socket on the Powerstand.
Mophie assure me that they are are working on the devlopment of a new version of their Powerstand to accommodate the Lightning connector.
The current Powerstand (mine was purchased via an Apple Store) is excellent and works with all previous models of iPad that have the 30-pin connector: I'm hoping that the new version Powerstand will come along very soon.

No, it does not. It is only compatible with the iPad 2 and 3, with the 30-pin connectors, and a 30-pin to lightning connector adapter would not work with the powerstand.

Mophie claims they are working on a stand that is compatible with the lightning connector. Frankly I'm really surprised they haven't come out with one yet.

I contacted Mopnie and was told it was compatable with 'the New iPad'. On the strength of that I placed an order. Now I have the stand I am very pleased. It is solid, very high quality contruction, fits perfectly and easy to use.

No, it does not work with any case, it is a very snug fit in the stand.

No... You must take any case off to properly fit the iPad in.
