Best AnswerYes. You can send a print job to the printer using either the Apple AirPrint or Epson's iPrint app. The iPrint app is available at the App Store for free. It allows you to print from your stored photos and documents both on the phone and in the air like Dropbox, Evernote, etc. It even lets you scan, and that's all wireless.

Can I use this printer with Mac 10.5.8?
I have an older Mac - a G5. I'm looking for a reliable and reasonably priced color laser multifunction. This seems to fit the bill - but will it work with my older OS? I can't upgrade the OS without buying a new computer.

AnswerIt has a USB 2.0 port. Not sure about your electric wire question. Of course there is a separate power cord.

Best AnswerNot yet, near as I can tell. The drivers from HPs website are for 10.6 only (you receive an error when you try to run them on Lion), and the Apple printer driver utility that hits Apple's servers says to contact the manufacturer.

I have a printer that works with lion operating system but does not work with mountain lion. This printer is Canon mf4450. I do not want to purchae anther problem. The printer I am considering is an HP M1536dpf

Best AnswerI am using OSX10.7.4 and our Laserjet Pro works fine. Wireless is the only way to print!
