Can it work with Lightroom 4 and other apps like Paper 53?
I have a Mac with a track pad but I'm having a hard time using the pad when editing digital images in Lightroom. My wrist hurts after awhile and my fingers become stiff.

Will pen input from a Wacom work with Powerpoint?
I'd like to be able to annotate Powerpoint slides using Powerpoint's pen tool during a presentation. Right now I use a tablet PC for this, but my main computer is a Mac (Air). Will adding a Wacom tablet give me the same capability as my tablet as far as Powerpoint goes?

Best AnswerYes, you can download the driver off of Wacom's website. As a general rule, it's always best to do this with any driver so that you can be sure to get the latest version.

can you write with this and use it as if it were a piece of paper?
I would like to be able to take noted on this and have them automatically saved to my computer. I dont want this for drawing or anything of the sort

Best AnswerNo. There are pens you can get that can help when drawing or writing on an iPad, but they aren't as accurate as Wacom tablets. If you are familiar with Wacom tablets, these pens probably won't be too satisfying to you, but could be better than just using your fingers.

AnswerAnything you write will show up just as is you write it on the tablet. There are some recognition software applications out there that can recognize handwriting I think. Might also be a good way to practice writing more concisely.
