Which has better sound over or around ear and/or comfort? (AE2i or OE2i)
Trying to decide between AE2I and OE2i- they are both priced the same, so how does one choose?
- Asked by Pamela J from Millbrae

Answer
For your concern about the sound quality... the best one for you is actually the one that YOU prefer. As simple as that!
For the comfort, the OE could make a little pressure on your ears after a long period of listening time, but the cushions are really great. Since the AE are around the ears, some people may prefer this type of headphones. Again here, it's all about what you prefer, not what the other people prefer.
So try the 2, and buy the one that you like most. If you can't try, buy the 2, then return the one you like the less.

Yes, you can use these headphones with your notebook computer. Just plug them into the headphone port on your computer. However, you cannot use the microphone that is built into the controller on the cable. You'll have to use the microphone that is built-into your computer.

Best Answer
When you plug these headphones into the headset jack on your Mac, you can use the remote to control the system volume, and playback in iTunes. You cannot control audio playback in another application (say, Spotify for example) with the remote. You cannot use the microphone built into the remote with your Mac, either.

There is no active noise isolation circuitry, but it offers some slight noise limitation by blocking the ears. It is not comparable to QC3 or QC15 that offers active noise cancellation circuitry.

No, they are neither noise canceling nor noise isolating. They have a good sound that can drown out other noise but are not in and of themselves noise canceling/reducing

can i use these at the gym-can they handle "Sweat"
- Asked by Gregory K from Washington
- Mar 12, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Answer
I would not use them in this manner, they are really nice, and can handle a lot. But if you sweat a lot the comfortable material they are made out of will break down. It is not made with that uncomfortable rubber like those termed "sweat-resistant" headphones.
