AnswerYes you can. On the 2nd dock, you should be able to dock your iphone with any size case. On the 1st dock, you can also dock your phone with the case but if you have one of those huge thick cases then maybe not.

Some non-Apple ipod docks/clocks make an very intrusive low whining noise. Is this device quiet when required?
I can't sleep in the same room as the Sony ipod dock because of the whine.

Can someone please eloborate on the brightness adjustment? how many increments? Does it go very dim and then off?
I'm very senstitive to light when asleep but also need a time-check if i happen to wake up in the dead of night. So brightness control is very important. Does this unit have the ability to have a very faint light display of time and also the option of complete off.
