Will an iPad (3rd gen.) fit in the front and an iPhone 5 (with adapter) fit in the back?
I have an iPad (3rd gen.) and an iPhone 5 with an adapter. I like to watch movies only iPad. Can I put the iPad in the front dock and the iPhone in the back one?

AnswerThe front dock is about level with the top surface of the clock, so the iPad won't fit. The iPhone 5 will, however, fit on the back with the adapter.

Does this have a battery back up? So when the power goes down we don't have to reset the clock
- Asked by Steven G from Sheidow Park
- Nov 24, 2011

AnswerIt has a battery backup feature that requires two AA batteries, but the batteries need to be new and fresh. The first set of batteries I tried on it would not save the time when I unplugged it to move it to another room. The second set of batteries saved the time.

Can you use the Apple-branded iPad case or the InCase magazine cover for iPad with this item?
- Asked by Jonas K from Rockville
- Jun 14, 2011
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerYou can use the apple smart covers without a problem. However if a case covers the back it will not work. As the spacing between the connector and the piece of plastic that aligns the device is just enough for the ipad.
