Will this work with iphone 5 or ipad mini if 30pin to lightning adapter is used?
I want to buy this speaker for the family home. We havevan iphone 4s and an ipad 2 which I know will work. We also have an ipad mini and an iphone 5. Will the latter two work if a 30pin to lightning adapter is used?

Yes works perfectly even with full functions using the remote of the philips dock. - but if you have a case the causes even the smallest gap on the bottom of the the iphone between it and the adapter then the lightning connector will not make contact fully.
A better bet is the adapter with a 0.2 m cable although it will not look nice but you will have not need to remove your case every time. it is pricey though.- Answered by Joseph Paul J from Paranaque

Does it have FM radio?
It doesnt specificially say ithas the radio on the device. I know i can get radio off my ipad/ipod but does the device itself have the FM radio?

Yes. The DC291 has FM radio capability built in to the device itself. However, It does not support AM radio.

Does the display show the time when the radio is playing?
I am looking for an Alarm Clock Radio that displays the radio station and time at the same time. I want to use it with my 3Gs. My current clock that docks my 3Gs only displays the station id when the radio is on and the time when the radio is off. The same is true when using my iPhone for the music source. I do not want to shut off my music to see the time.

Yes, when the radio is on the station id replaces the date (month & day), but the time and day of the week are still displayed.
