Has anyone ever dropped their laptop with the case on and did it protect your laptop?
I haven't read a single review on this site yet that has told me whether or not the case has protected a laptop of any kind when dropped and I'd like to know whether or not this case will protect my laptop if I were to drop it.
Thank you in advance for your answers!- Asked by John W from Carlisle

Best AnswerI use this for my 13" macbook pro and it fits fine. Obviously it is a bit of a tighter fit than normal but nothing that worries me.

Can I use this case if I already have a shell case on my MBA?
I want this case but it looks like it's not that tight of a fit, I was wondering if I could get a shell case for my MBA AND have this case for excessive protection. Would my computer fit in the Book Book if it has a shell on it?

AnswerIt should be no problem using the Bookbook with a hard shell already on the MBA since most hard shells I know do not increase the size of the MBA at all.

Best AnswerThe version designed for the Macbook Air only comes in the one color selection shown. There is a slightly larger version designed for the Macbook Pro, which can can used with the Air (with wiggle room). It comes in two different color choices. Go to the Twelve South website to see those choices.

Does the metal zipper latch on the inside scratch the sides of the macbook? Looks like there would be metal to metal contact if you're not careful.

AnswerThe zipper is plastic. Should have no issue with scratching. What I don't like about it is that it has to be unzipped a little to connect the charger. I am considering the Sena Folio because all ports are available all the time.
