The charger comes with a batterie pack. Inside the pack are 2 NiMH batteries. The NiMH battery specification tells that 1.2V (chemical reason) are offered. Thus the batterie pack has a nominal power of 2.4V. This is sufficient for the mouse.

Answer
No you can't. The pack comes with a specific pack which fits into the bottom of the Magic Mouse. It is specific to this product. I even put my iPhone on the charger to check. As soon as they create an inductive charger for iPhone, i'll be first in the queue.
