I really want to purchase a new battery for my ipod touch, but I don't know if replacement batteries are sold. when i search for accessories i found the kensington powerlift back up battery and dock. can this be used like a replacement battery or is it used only when my battery dies?

AnswerNo, because it charges your battery. You will need to replace the battery if u haven't already and this is only used when ur battery dies or needs charging.
