As Australia uses different voltage from US, can I simply buy one Zeppelin Air and bring back to Down Under?

Answer
TC, we don't have different wireless systems. And yes it runs on 110 to 240 V AC so all you need is a plug adaptor.

Best Answer
It should be possible, it depends on the audio output on your TV... But I doubt you'll be able to connect it wirelessly, the simpliest way will be to use a usual jack cable...

Answer
I use my iPhone 4 all the time, and have had no problems. When I get a call, the music stops, and I just take the phone off the cradle arm and answer the call. BEWARE: the Zep. Air HATES bumper covers on phones, it won't connect properly if you have a cover on your iPhone, and won't work. Take your bumper cover off before placing your phone on the arm, and it will work just fine. And no need to use "airport" mode on your phone, just leave phone on like you always do.

Answer
The Zeppelin Air features an AUX port, which allows you to feed audio from any device with a headphone jack. There is no way to stream the audio from the TV or Blu Ray player, the wireless works with airplay (iOS, AppleTV, and iTunes only so far). Having said that, the AUX port works very well. I use the device with a samsung LED and Blu Ray set up. The sound is far superior to the TV's built in speakers, but it doesn't have great seperation.

The Zeppelin Air comes with an 802.11 (g) card. Does anyone know the effect of this on an 802.11 (n) wireless network? Perhaps, only when in use?
- Asked by Guy C from Northport

Answer
It depends on the router. Apparently, the Airport Extreme can handle mixed g/n connections without letting the g drag the whole thing down. But the Airport Express is not as sophisticated. You'd have to find out from other manufacturers how their routers fair.

Can I use this product in the Japan?
Bying in US then bring back to Japan. Can I use it in the Japan?
- Asked by Masahiro S from Gold River
- Dec 2, 2011
- Flag as inappropriate
Answer
Although, my answer is quite late, perhaps it will help someone else buying products in the US for use in Japan.
The voltage in Japan is 100V. The voltage in the US is 120V. Both countries have ungrounded (2-prong) plugs that fit interchangeably. Personally, I find the difference in voltage negligible. I think only really sensitive equipment will have problems with the voltage difference. I lived in Japan for a year and a half, and used a US bought, non-Apple laptop and external hard drive JUST FINE without plug adaptors or voltage converters.- Answered by Maria V V from Cypress

It will link up with the IPad, but it does not link up through bluetooth like the Jawbone. It links up through your wireless router system using Airplay.

The sound quality is better in the air model, and has a new design and speakers inside, over airplay no quality is lost at all so yes it would be better,
