Can you sync all of the iPads with one back up setting so they are all the same (basically cloned)?

Yes. Using the Apple Configurator (free download from the Mac App Store) you can configure settings on 1 iPad, create a backup of those settings and then apply them to all of the iPads in the cart so they are essentially identical.

You can slide the dividers up at the front and then pull them out as long as you have removed the iPads from that section. I just did the same thing a few minutes ago.

Does this unit have a feature that when armed would trigger an audible alarm if an iPad is removed?
Seems like a great solution for any enterprise utilizing iPads for their staff to check in or check out.
Not only educational groups, but medical too. I wonder if used in a small hospital if it has the ability of sounding an audible alarm if an unauthorized person removes a docked iPad.
It seems that for almost $3K that such a feature couldn't possibly cost too much to include.- Asked by Shauna F from Fair Lawn
- Nov 4, 2011

Answer
The cart doesn't have any built-in alarms. The cart comes with a combination lock that provides physical security.

Multiple IPad Sets with multiple iTunes Accounts on a iPad Cart
Is the way to to sync iPad2 1-10 set with one iTunes account and have iPad2 11-20 Set with another iTunes account and finally iPad2 21-30 set without Apps loading onto the other 2 sets but the intended iPad2 Set using the same MacBOOK?
- Asked by Kirk O from Safford
- Feb 15, 2012

Answer
Yes you can. Under apps simply check the apps you want loaded on each Ipad. It is very time consuming process to start with if you have very many apps but you only have to set it up one time. I have different book collections on different IPads great way to make them available and not fill up each IPad
