AnswerYes I believe you can as I have a Kensington Lock on my Cinema Display and have had no problems so far.

AnswerNo - It does NOT block the DVD drive slot on a Mid-2010 15" MacBook Pro. I have both the laptop and lock in use now, with no problems. A larger lock mechanism (this one is very small) might well obstruct the clearance though, which is why I bought this one, in addition to the fact that this one has Kensington's highest security rating, as detailed on their website.

Best AnswerNo; neither the original 13 inch macbook air nor the 2010 (13 or 11 inch) macbook airs have Kensington lock slots.

Do these locks prevent the laptop from opening?
I have a powerbook, G4, and I know it has been used and tampered with, and have been missing music I made as well as the music being changed. also, was running very funny and just know someone has been using it. Another question would be if i know have a mini, how can I secure her?

AnswerFrom looking at the picture, I think the lock's main function is to make sure that the laptop isn't carried off by someone other than the owner. If you're worried about unauthorized usage, I'd suggest password protecting it, or finding a lock that wraps around the laptop.
