You have a contract.
The thing is that you can get it and if you want to use 4G LTE than go to the settings click cellular and turn it on. You will have to pay a monthly fee but no contract. Also if you get it on AT&T I think you have to call them to get Unlimited Service. But Anyways you don't have a contract you pay month to month. You can also change your plan at any time.- Answered by Jackson M from Granbury

Best AnswerAll iPads come without a contract. in fact there is no contract to get wireless data. you only pay for data month to month. you can cancel at any time, or change your plan at any time. be warned though, when you start your data plan, you have to cancel it when you are done, or else it will auto renew.

Do I have to buy the iPad mini from Verizon to add it to my "share everything" plan? Or can I set that up with the mini I bought from the apple store?
I bought an iPad mini from the apple store when it first came out. Now I have my own "share everything" plan with Verizon where I can add devices. Is there a way to set up my current iPad mini with Verizon or do I have to buy the mini through them?

If I buy the iPad with the 4G LTE Service from Verizon or AT&T, will it work in Trinidad
I live in Trinidad & Tobago, but travel to the USA often.
I need to know if the iPad 4G LTE Service from Verizon or AT&T is sim-locked, or whether there is any agreement in place with the telecommunications company in Trinidad (TSTT) so that I can get the 4G service in Trinidad but not have to pay roaming charges.- Asked by Homida M

Best AnswerIt depends on which Ipad, and what you plan to do with it. The recharger will work fine in Europe, but you'll have to buy an adapter so the blade type American plug will work in the pin type European plugs. The transformer itself will work, no problem. Apple also sells a travel adapter if you want to go that route. The Wifi iPads work fine (I've used them without any problems). The Cellular-enabled iPads work in most international cellular systems, but it will depend upon the country. I had no problems in Europe, but in North Africa (Morocco) I had problems. Not sure what caused the problems. I just switched to wifi and everything worked fine.

Buy buying a data plan for my iPad will I be able to watch tv when I loose power and do not have wi- fi

Best AnswerYes, you can then use your cellular wireless coverage to watch video. But data usage for video will use your data plan at a more rapid rate than most data related activities. Without unlimited data you will want to return to WiFi as soon as possible. Watch how much you watch :-) on cellular especially if you upgrade to the 4th generation or the mini with LTE.
