if i buy an iPhone 5 from apple store do i have to take the internet plan from Verizon when i switch to the iPhone 5 ?

i know that if you buy an iPhone 5 from Verizon stores i have to get internet data plan on it
what about if i buy from apple store and go activate it at the store?

Can I add a Verizon wifi + cellular ipad 4 purchased from the Apple store to my VZW share everything plan w/o going into a VZW store?

If I purchase a Verizon wifi + cellular VZW iPad 4 from the Apple store I would like to add it to my share everything VZW plan w/o having to go into the store? I don't want to use the built in option to purchase the data plan but just want the VZW SIM to be set up on my existing plan.

Or, is it better to wait till I see the iPad 4 on the VZW web site and then just purchase it from VZW so it is already set up with a phone number and is on my share everything plan for the $10/month add on fee when I receive it?

Whats the price of a non-sim locked iPad Mini 16Gb?

I would want to buy several iPad Minis, and will prefer them to be sim-unlocked. What is the price for 16Gb? And what SIM card type is used - I didn't understand what Nano -SIMs are
