Should I get an iPad mini or iPad 2?
I'm a student and president of my Greek organization. I would mostly be using it for class, meetings, and travel. I will be doing a lot of internet usage and emailing, along with using apps to take notes and manage timetables, as well as FaceTiming. I wouldn't really be using it for music or games since I have an iPhone.

Best AnswerIt all depends on your personal preference. Can you visit a store and try out the apps you'll be using? Depending on how deep you are in the ecosystem, you may want to pay attention to the fact that they use different connectors. The iPad 2 is compatible with more existing third-party devices with the familiar 30-pin adapter, while the Mini uses the new lightning adapter. This was a real nuisance (and added expense) for me when I upgraded to iPhone 5.

Well you can do anything you want with YOUR iPad, but it's not a computer... It's an iPad. So you will have limitations to processing, memory, programs, etc. For basic internet, email, games, videos, books.... that is it's purpose. The keypad is overkill IMO unless you are doing a lot of long emails/documents. It's funny how people want their laptops to be tablets (touch screens) and their tablets to be computers (keypads). I will say one thing... there is NO substitute for apple products. They just make sense from the moment you turn then on.

ipad mini or ipad with retina for college
I cannot decide between the ipad mini and the ipad with retina. I am an engineering student and want to carry around an iPad instead of lugging my books plus laptop around. I want to be able to pull it out in class and read my books on it.
Is the mini going to be hard to read my textbooks on? is the ipad 4 going to be too large to pull out in class, is it worth the extra money?
Obviously the 170 dollar price difference is a big deal. I also am not sure if I need the 32gb. I don't plan on using it for much besides school, so no music downloads or movies will be stored on it.- Asked by Jaime R from Saint Peters

Best AnswerI can honestly say that the iPad mini displays textbooks (and all books for that matter) really, really well. The size is perfect because it is really thin and light, something that can't be said of the full size iPad. It's super easy to type and highlight on the mini and takes up less space in your bag. The full size iPad may be a tad faster at key things like opening apps or opening a webpage a few seconds faster, but the iPad mini is perfectly speedy enough to do anything and everything from reading and annotating books, to creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, to loading big pages and running super powerful apps with no lag whatsoever. The battery life on the mini is also fantastic, and it really is quite portable and capable for its size and price. The smaller screen size doesn't compromise any of the apps or functionality of a full size iPad at all. Hope I helped!

How do I hear sound from my iPad through my car sound system?
I have an iPad 3 and want to listen to audiobooks whilst driving my car on frequent long distant travel. I drive a VW Golf. The speaker in the iPad is not strong enough to hear over the engine noise at speed and holding th iPad with speaker uppermost on my lap is satisfactory for sound but unsatisfactory for safety.

Best AnswerHi Julie,
The real only differences between the iPad mini & iPad 2 are:
The screen size 9.7" compared with 7.9"
The connectors: iPad 2 - 30 Pin Connector / iPad mini - Lightning Connector 8 Pin
The camera is also slightly better in the iPad mini to the iPad 2
If you like Siri the voice assistant then the iPad mini has this feature the iPad 2 does not.
iPad mini starts at £269 available in 16/32/64GB on the Apple Store
iPad 2 starts at £329 but only available in 16GB
I hope this helps.- Answered by Josh R

Should I get an iphone 5 or a Ipad mini?

- Asked about: iPhone
Best AnswerDepends, if you have a iphone or iphone 4 or a model below the iphone 4 then i suggest you go for the iphone 5 its cool and a big diffrence from iphone 4 and the older models.
But if you have a iphone 4s i suggest you go for the ipad mini because theres not much diffrence between the iphone 4s and iphone 5,
iphone 5 is a bit faster and has a bigger screen.and is a little slimer. i've had a iphone 4s and now i have a iphone 5 the reason i never bought a ipad is because i'm not really into them never had one though my brother dose. (but saying that if i liked the ipads and i had a iphone 4s i would have bought the ipad mini. and if i had a iphone 4 or an older model then i would have bought an iphone 5.
hope this helps you decide if you already have not.decided.- Answered by Imran M

should i get a 16gb or 32 gb ipad mini
I am and athletic trainer. I'm looking at getting a mini for injury reporting and resources. I would only put movies on if I was traveling. No music since I have a device already for that. Just trying to figure out what size storage I need for the apps and injury reporting.

Best AnswerAs long as you have access to wifi then the you will not need 3g. Having access to the cellular service gives you more flexibility as you travel around where no wifi is not available.

Yes, the iPad 2 can run on iOS 6. I upgraded mine. Please contact Apple support for the instructions, though. I do not recall how I did it. The instructions were quite easy, and the apps on my iPad work very well. You may get update alerts, but that all went very smooth.
