can apple tv handle 24-bit/192kHz hd audio without compression to 16-bit/48 kHz?

I want to liten to HD Audio from my computer to my stereo. Most wireless interphases compress the signal down to 16-bit/44-48kHz and this is not acceptable. I need at least 24-bit/96-192kHz. The audio out from the apple tv to my stereo should be able to handle up to 24-bit/96-192kHz.

Does Apple TV have an external digital tuner to watch OTA channels?

I have an older (2006) model HDTV. We want to get rid of cable and access OTA channels through an HD Antenna, but it seems our older model TV doesn't have a digital tuner. Does Apple have a digital tuner (like Boxee Box or Roku)?
