I want to use my xbox 360 will this work for that or will I have to buy something else?

Well i want to use the new 27" imac as a TV so I can play xbox on it will this let me do that because I see other videos where people buy like 150 dollar ones are these the ones I need or do I have to break bank to do it

Resolution problem on new ViewSonic connected to older MacBook Pro.

I have an older MacBook Pro, SN: W89194B271A using a NIVADIA GeForce 9400M Graphics Card. I just purchased a new Viesonic VX2450 LED Monitor. The monitor has a DVI-D input and the MacBook the standard mini output. My monitor calls for a resolution of 1920 x 1080, That resolution will not fill up my page on the monitor. It leaves a 1" space on each end. I have to go to a 1280 x 800 to fill up the page. Could this be because of my older MacBook? I ordered a new DVI-D cable which matches the input on my new monitor thinking I may have a bad cable. Anyone with any thoughts. The picture is great even though it is not the recommended resolution from Viewsonic.

Is the DVI dual link or not? Or what is the highest resolution does it support? Do it support 2560*1600?

I have a DEll 30 inch monitor. I just bought a Mac Book Pro 15". How can I connect them so that I can use the 2560*1600 resolution the monitor has. Thanks in advance.
