i have noticed one review that said the mike stopped working with an os upgrade. anybody used this with ios5 or macs running lion?

I would be using this microphone either with my mac mini or imac, both of which are running lion, and don't want to get it if it won't work...
I'm also curious if there is anyway it can be used with an iphone 4s running ios5?
it would be primarily for podcasting, interviews for documentaries (radio and video) and possibly for taping lectures (less important).

I'm thinking of buying a Macbook Air, and one of the reasons would be to use something like the Yeti with Garage Band for recording my voice lessons and practice. Would all this work?

I know that Adobe Audition won't be avail for Mac until December, but will the Yeti work with Adobe Audition for voice only work?

Can the Yeti be connected to a sound mixer to record from?

I am recording for a whole choir and i need to link the Yeti microphone to the mixer i am using for the recording along with the sound pro. the cable i need to use with the mic should be either banana or xlr on one end and the other end is the yeti plug itself. thanks for your help, and if it's possible to connect the yeti to the mixer what kind of cable will i need and where can i buy it from?
