Will the EarPods work with other smartphones and audio devices?
The new EarPods look like incredible headphones and I'm wondering if I can use them with my Android device since I'm not an iPhone user. I understand the remote and volume control are software based and thus not supported, but what about the audio enhancements.

Like previous earbud models, how easily will my music be heard by others sitting within proximity to me?
Current earbuds, when at half of maximum volume, emit a clear sound of the music or audio that someone is listening to when not in their ear. But the in-ear earbuds make listening in, or eavesdropping, on music more of a harder task. How easily will other people be able to hear the audio that is emitted by these earbuds when they are not in their own ear?

is there noise from the cord?
Hello
I would like to understand how much noise is transmitted from the cord/cable bumping into other things (e.g. like bumping on chest/arm when running). I have some earphones which also have a Mic, and the noise transmission from the cord is terrible. Does these Apple earpods have the same problem?
Thanks- Asked by Douglas S
