Ipad to smartboard projector?

Best way to connect?
Smartboard is currectly working with a Dell PC at my school, I want to sometimes project education apps from my Ipad for my students

The overview states that the adapter "will display in up to 720p on your HDMI-equipment".  Then it goes on to say the adapter also displays in 1080p??

Will embedded video from an iBook play both audio/ visual with this adapter if connected to a HDMI to VGA adapter then to a projector?

Could I mirror what is on my iPad to a screen with this, then also connect more accessories with the extra lightning port?

I was wondering about something like the Focusrite iTrack Solo. I know I would need to use a 30pin to lightning converter for this to work with the iPad and to fit into this adapter, but would I even be able to use both at the same time at all?

do you just plug direct into your tv from your ipad

i am just about to buy the AV adapator to plug my Ipad retina into my HD TV is that all i need to show movies etc

If I connect my iPad via the Lightning AV Adaptor to my TV to play music from the iPad, will it utilise the sound system attached to the TV?

can you watch hulu or tubeplus ,netflix or any other streaming video on a ipad retina display?

I want to be able to download movies from various sites usibng different formats for example avi movies and i want to watch my tv shows on the website tubeplus on a ipad retina display and when at home on my tv.
