Can you plug in a usb flash drive to any of the apple "lightning to" devices?

I would like to know if you can use a usb flash drive to save typed projects off of your ipad.

Could this be used as a general usb port like on a computer or is it just for cameras?

This is weird but like a Mac, does is support the USB super multi drive from apple or is there two many problems like (power).

Can you use the ipad to read Thumb drives using the Lightning to USB cable?

I have several trailcams that use thumb drives. Can I use the Lightning to USB cable to take into the woods and download the photes from the thumb drives to the Ipad generation 4?

Will this allow a USB microphone (like Snowball) to record to iPad as the previous 30-pin version did?

I had the camera connection kit for my 30-pin iPad and I loved how I could use my Snowball USB microphone with the iPad via the USB adapter. Will this new USB to Lightning adapter allow the same usage as it's predecessor?

Also, I wonder if this and the SD card to Lightning adapters work for the iPhone 5 as well?

This adapter is too small for my camera. I tried it with my husbands Sanyo Camera and it wouldn't fit either.

Will Lightning to USB Camera Adaptor work with my Sony Cyber Camera with Memory Stick Duo Cards. Ipad that I have is a Generation 4 with retina

Want to transfer pictures from my Sony Cyber Camera with Memory Stick Duo Cards.
My camera is Digital and has a USB cable and battery is charged out of the camera on a charging block or piece. Then is put in a wall socket. I want to transfer them to a Generation 4 Ipad.

Will the lightening to USB Camera Adapter work with a Nikon Coolpix S6100?

I tried to download photos to my new iPad WiFi Cellular 32GB from my Nikon Coolpix S6100 camera. I keep getting the message that the attached accessory uses too much power. I turned off the charge by computer, but it still does not work. Is the adapter not compatible with Nikon cameras?
